Plot

Cadmium red on the left knee. A streak of ultramarine where she wiped a brush without thinking. These pants spent three years in a studio that smelled of turpentine and certainty, back when the plan was simple and enormous. The plan changed. The pants kept the evidence. She still can't throw them out, which is exactly why they belong here — handed to someone whose plan is still simple and enormous.
